McNair, Henry Brooks

Henry Brooks McNair was born Mar 20, 1845, Kemper County. He died Nov 28, 1923, Austin, Texas. He was the son of Robert & Anna Brooks McNair. He served in Co. C, 45th MS Regiment from Nov 1862 till the end of the war. He was shot in the mouth at the Battle of Franklin, Tennessee. He is buried at the Texas State Cemetery in Austin. His brother, Wes, was killed at the same battle.
